When and where is Music 4 Shelter?
The event takes place on October 6, 2023, at the Fillmore in Minneapolis. Click here for directions.

When does the concert start?
Different ticket tiers have different start times, so be sure to check the details of your purchase. More information coming soon!

  • All-Access Pass: Doors at 5:00 p.m.
  • General Admission: Doors at 7:00 p.m.
  • Nur-D Party: Doors at 8:00 p.m.

How do I get to Music 4 Shelter? Is parking available on site?
The Fillmore is located at the Target Field light rail station. The Fillmore doesn’t have a parking lot, but metered parking is available on the surrounding streets, which you can easily pay for with the ParkMobile App. A few parking lots and ramps are located just blocks away.  

Where can I stay?
The Element Minneapolis Downtown is offering a discounted rate October 5-8: Book your group rate for Music 4 Shelter 2023.

I want to eat or get a drink before the concert. Where should I go?
There are multiple restaurants and breweries within walking distance of the Fillmore and elsewhere in North Loop. Show your concert ticket to get discounted drinks at Fulton Brewing, just up the block on N. 6th Ave!

How do I check in?
When you arrive, staff will scan your ticket.

Can I bring my bag into the Fillmore?

Bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be searched prior to entry. Bags that are not clear will be subject to additional search. Pro tip: Use the venue’s free bag check.

Is there a dress code?
Nope! Think casual rock concert attire. 

Is there food?
Ticket holders will receive complimentary snacks and drinks. All-access ticket holders also get complimentary light appetizers. Check your ticket for more details.

What else is there to do?
Lots! Bid on sporting tickets, getaways, records, books, and more in our fantastic auction. Visit the free photo booth and be sure to tag #Music4Shelter. Step right up to play Rock the Dice for guaranteed prizes–every roll is a winner! Enjoy drinks and snacks, mingle, and dance as DJ Sophia Eris keeps the Fillmore rocking between performances. It’s going to be a great time!

How can I participate in the auction? Is it in-person or online? 
If you bought a ticket, you already have an account for the auction. Items are displayed in person at the event and listed online. Bidding takes place online. If you’re at the venue, scan an item’s QR code to access the auction.
Pro tip: Set up your account ahead of time and be sure to set a max bid!

I can’t go to the event; can I still participate?
Yes! You can still contribute to Music 4 Shelter’s success in several ways: 

  • Donate items to the online auction and bid remotely. 
  • Make a financial gift through our auction platform.  
  • Sponsor the event.  
  • Share donation and auction info with your friends and family. 
  • Interact with and amplify #music4shelter content: Facebook | Instagram  

What items do you take for the auction, and how do I donate?
We accept a wide variety of local goods, items, and services. Visit the Auction page for donation forms and guidelines.

If I am an auction winner but am not at the event, how do I pick up my auction items?
Winners can arrange a pickup from our office by emailing development@simpsonhousing.org.

What are the proceeds going toward?
One hundred percent of the concert proceeds will go directly to Simpson’s shelter and housing programs. Simpson’s mission is to house, support, and advocate for people experiencing homelessness. Click here to learn more.
