Concert Preview
Music 4 Shelter, a concert benefit for nonprofit Simpson Housing Services, returns to The Fillmore Minneapolis on October 6. Legendary Minnesota band The Suburbs headline the show with award-winning and upcoming artists Nur-D, Lady Midnight, and DJ Sophia Eris. Comedian, artist, and emcee Miss Shannan will host. The evening includes live music, dancing, and an online auction that is accessible for those not able to attend the concert.

“As someone who has been unhoused, it’s so important to me that we highlight this in our community,” Nur-D says. […] “I love to play a show where everybody is rocking out for a good cause. The bill also included local artists Soul Beautiful, Purple Funk Metropolis, and DJ Shannon Blowtorch. It was an uplifting night of positive live music that benefitted a good cause.”

Music 4 Shelter Inaugural Concert Benefit
Jeremy Messersmith, Matt Wilson and His Orchestra, Chastity Brown, Soul Beautiful, and DJ Sophia Eris kicked off the first annual Music 4 Shelter. It was a big hit and a night to remember!
