Event Parking & Accessibility

We recommend taking a rideshare or carpooling! Limited free parking is available in front of Quincy Hall. Paid parking ($10/vehicle) is across the street in the Hillcrest Lot starting at 5 p.m. There’s also a small pay-by-the-hour lot near Indeed Brewing.

Do not park on Quincy Street — you may be ticketed or towed. Quincy Hall is fully accessible, with no steps to enter or access the restrooms.

This year’s event also celebrates a historic milestone: the opening of Simpson Community Shelter & Apartments in January 2026 — a purpose-built, trauma-informed facility that includes 72 extended-stay shelter beds and 42 deeply affordable supportive housing apartments, integrating emergency shelter, housing, healthcare partnerships, and community space under one roof.

The 16th Annual Art 4 Shelter is Dedicated in Honor of Steve Horsfield

After 14 years leading Simpson Housing Services through growth, expansion, and transformation, Steve Horsfield will be stepping down as Executive Director.

The 16th Annual Art 4 Shelter is dedicated in his honor — recognizing his leadership, the successful completion of Simpson’s first capital campaign, and the opening of Simpson Community Shelter & Apartments — a transformative investment in shelter, housing, and dignity for our community.

On May 1, we will celebrate Steve’s leadership and the strong foundation he leaves for Simpson’s next chapter. Throughout the event, we will share a few meaningful surprises in recognition of his service and lasting impact.

You may also make a gift in Steve’s honor, helping carry forward the shelter, housing, and stability work he cares so deeply about.
