Simpson News June 24, 2022
Volunteer spotlight: Council Member Aisha Chughtai
Simpson News June 22, 2022Aisha Chughtai is a busy person. She represents Ward 10 on the Minneapolis City Council – as she has been since November, when she became the first Muslim woman and the youngest person ever to attain a seat on the council.
But nonetheless, she still made time to serve lunch at Simpson’s emergency shelter. Read the whole story.
We’re working with a new platform for our Art 4 Shelter online store this year, and we’re experiencing some technical difficulties.
We want this sale to be fun and easy, so we’ve decided to postpone it long enough to get our ducks in a row. The new opening will take place June 24 and will close July 11. Apologies for the delay, and thank you for your patience. Learn more about the virtual sale.
Art 4 Shelter’s virtual art sale is officially live! You can officially peruse hundreds of unique, affordable works of art from the comfort of your home. Best of all: the proceeds go toward Simpson’s shelter and housing programs. But don’t wait; the sale ends at noon on June 5.
Help Simpson finish the year strong

We have $100,000 left to raise to meet our fundraising goal and support our shelter and housing programs. All gifts, big and small, make a difference.
