Talented Scout builds new candleholders for Memorial
Simpson News, Stories December 7, 2021Memorial candles are never re-used. Carla Gainey, Simpson Executive Director from 1987-1997, was adamant that new candles be purchased every year. One for every life. To this day, we follow her example.
The previous set of candleholders didn’t have enough room to fit a candle for everyone, but as luck would have it, Matthew — an Edina Scout — chose to do something for Simpson for his Eagle project. Learn more here.
