We’re in the homestretch of this effort, with $45 million raised to date.

The Homestretch Campaign

For over 40 years, Simpson Housing Services has been a leading nonprofit supporting people impacted by homelessness. We began as an emergency shelter in the basement of Simpson United Methodist Church. Now we’re starting a new chapter. By the end of 2025, we will open the doors to Simpson Community Shelter & Apartments—a space that represents the future of shelter and housing.

The Homestretch Campaign is the final phase of Simpson’s first capital campaign in our four-decade history. We are seeking vital funding to complete two transformational buildings: Simpson Community Shelter & Apartments and our first program and administrative building. The campaign also supports funding for long-term sustainability in our work to ensure that everyone has a safe, stable home.

To make this vision a reality, we need to raise $3.5 million. Will you help us close the gap by making a gift?

Homelessness is a systemic problem, and we know we can’t address it alone. Community support is critical to realizing this vision. We’re going beyond shelter, and we’re asking you to join us.

Simpson Community Shelter & Apartments will combine shelter, housing, and supportive services under one roof. The building’s features include 72 shelter beds, 42 supportive homes, an on-site health clinic, a commercial kitchen and dining room, access to private green space, and more. The site is currently under construction and will open in late 2025.

Our transformational work continues at our new administrative and program space, where we’ve been operating since May 2022. We connect people with shelter and housing, provide space for community learning, and reimagine shelter and housing together.

We are committed to our mission and values as we move into a bold future during these uncertain times. Your support will help ensure the success and sustainability of Simpson’s ongoing operations. We invite you to invest in Simpson’s future by supporting the Homestretch Campaign.
