It’s time to get ready for school! Simpson annually partners with families in our supportive housing programs through the Tools for School fundraiser to equip students of all ages for educational success. Tools for School provides learners with the supplies and learning tools they need to do their best work, from calculators to internet access to culturally specific resources.
More than that, Tools for School empowers families to shop with their children and to select their own supplies. There’s nothing like young children being able to choose their own backpack and folders to feel invested in the school year! Tools for School also funds resources for continuing education and skill building, such as financial literacy courses for parents.
Your financial gift to the Tools for School program enables families to purchase the back-to-school supplies their students need most. With your support, we can partner with over 300 families and 650 children in Simpson’s programs and prepare students for a successful school year.
