“We are excited to welcome Christina Jacobson, our new Director of Equity and Human Resources and senior leadership team member. Her expertise and perspectives will guide our agency and staff forward in our continued commitment to doing anti-racist work and advancing racial equity. Our prioritization of dismantling systemic racism and ensuring racial justice, a critical part of our organization’s work to end homelessness, has also been adopted as a pillar of our new strategic plan,” says Executive Director Steve Horsfield.
“Christina’s demonstrated commitment to underserved communities and her keen ability to listen, collaborate, and challenge the status quo fit well with Simpson’s mission and culture. Bringing many voices to the table, our agency relies on the collaboration of its staff, leadership team, and participants to ask important questions and engage in dialogue about the needs of the people we serve, the strategic direction of our agency, and how we partner with individuals and families with dignity and intention.”
