My name is Crystal Sokuu. I am a self-taught visual artist and paint instructor residing in Minneapolis, MN.
I began branding myself in the art industry by selling my artwork, hosting a “one of a kind” exhibition, and instructing several heART therapy classes. I’ve always been a creative at heart. I fell in love with painting through a after school program. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually it has become the thing I am most passionate about.
I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, oils and pastels. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. Anything can inspire me but I’m mostly inspired by love. My goal is to educate and uplift women through my paintings. I encourage all to follow your heART!
