Meet David Senior

David joined Simpson Housing Services in July 2022 as Finance Director. Previously, he worked in the nonprofit sector for seven years as the executive director of Relate Counseling Center in Minnetonka while serving on the boards of directors of various food shelves and community organizations in the west Twin Cities. Before his nonprofit work, he worked for Cargill for 21 years and Target for two years in leadership roles all around the world. He sees joining Simpson as an excellent opportunity to work with a growing Twin Cities nonprofit making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. 

David has a business studies degree with a specialization in accounting and finance and Spanish.  He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with two masters degrees – one in business administration and one in nonprofit management. He is currently pursuing his PhD in management and public service at Hamline University.
