Search for Home: An Introduction to Housing and Homelessness
Join us for an educational and interactive training about affordable housing and homelessness in Minnesota.
The training will cover the history of homelessness and low-income housing, the range of housing options available today, the cost of homelessness, and an examination of solutions.
Participants will leave the training with expanded knowledge of the systemic causes of homelessness and tools for advocating for affordable housing in their community.
Target Audience: Everyone is welcome at the training. People interested in housing and homelessness, volunteers, donors, and administrative social service staff will find the training very beneficial. Because of the two-hour length, this training is best for ages 16 and older.
Cost: This training is free!
